Paulines Guesthouse est située à Thokha-Chandeshwori à 8 km au nord de Katmandou, à 50m du Parc National de Shipavuri.

Pauline’s Guesthouse is located in Tokha-Chandeshwori (8 km from Kathmandu) on the northern edge of the Kathmandu valley, situated at the foot of scenic Shivapuri National Park.

Cette maison est une ferme, construite en respectant l’utilisation des matériaux traditionnels népalais : pierre, boue séchée et terre auxquels ont étés ajoutés des éléments de décoration (fenêtres, colonnes, escaliers) provenant de l’architecture traditionnelle newar.

Pauline’s Guesthouse is  a farm built in the pure Nepali tradition, using local construction materials: stone, dried mud and earth. Typical and genuine Newari-style details, such as windows, columns, and stairs, complete the look

The fact that we have only three guest rooms ensures the tranquility of your stay. We provide bed linen and towels, as well as soaps made in Nepal by Wild Earth Nepal.

Les repas, que vous pourrez prendre dans le jardin ou dans la cuisine, en fonction des saisons, sont préparés avec des produits frais provenant de notre potager ou cultivés dans les villages voisins. 

Meals can be enjoyed both outdoors and indoors. They are prepared using fresh local produce, much of which has been grown and harvested in our vegetable garden and the neighboring fields. 

Paulines Guesthouse travaille en partenariat avec Himalayan French Cheese et vous proposera fromage (tome de Savoie) et charcuterie faits avec des produits locaux. Et pour accompagner le fromage, un verre de vin…

Pauline’s Guesthouse works together with Himalayan French Cheese, thus providing our guests with the opportunity to taste a locally-produced cheese (tome de Savoie) and delicatessen products. And we’re happy to provide some wine to complement your tasting experience…

Paulines Guesthouse est facilement accessible en taxi depuis le centre de Katmandou.

Pauline’s Guesthouse is easily accessible by taxi from the city centre. The trip up to Chandeswori also makes a scenic mountain-bike ride!
